Doug doesn’t feel right. His head, his brain, feels fuzzy. It almost feels like there is a worm living inside of his head, eating his brain.
That’s because there is.
‘Fifty Ways to Leave Your Brain Worm’ follows Doug as he discovers and desperately tries to rid himself of the parasite that calls his head home.
The play, written by Pat Coghlan and directed by Raf Solimeno Harris, is an absurdly funny and strangely touching one-man show. The writer-director duo met at the Old Vic Theatre School whilst studying master's degrees in their respective disciplines. After graduating, they kept working together with a sold-out run of an original show, ‘BellEnd’.
‘It’s all inside your head’. The doctor said to Doug,
‘The answer is easy if you take it logically. I’d like to help you in your struggle to be free.'
