The year is 2045. The Earth and humanity are rapidly collapsing under the weight of their own so called progress.

In amongst the chaos, 200 of the world’s brightest (and richest) minds are selected to seek salvation 140 million miles away, on Mars, to begin a brand new civilisation.

One of the 200 people is Monica – a young astrophysicist who has spent her life dreaming of going to space. She should be honoured, grateful, excited. But something doesn't sit right.

As launch day approaches, the cracks in the mission begin to show. The planet seems to stir. An ancient presence begins to speak and Monica starts to ask a terrifying question:

What if humanity doesn’t deserve a second chance?
