Pour un oui ou pour un non is an exploration of that fragile border — where emotion and language no longer meet.

For some of us — like Male 2 — talking is a way to survive, to translate the invisible. But sooner or later, we discover that words are not enough: they come too late, they feel outdated, or they fall flat against what was once alive.

On the other side, there are those like Male 1, who find comfort in the tangible, the certain, the grounded. They don’t chase words — they anchor them. For them, the unspeakable feels unnecessary, even dangerous.

Between these two worlds — the poetic and the practical, the oisif dreamer and the steady realist — stands the question: can language ever truly carry what we feel?

This project begins where communication collapses. It is a study of friendship, difference, and the impossibility of perfect understanding — of how love can turn into distance, and silence can become both refuge and wound.
